We need someone with WIKI experience (creating a wiki)

I have this set up, but have no experience with anything like this, has anyone here ever built their own from the freeware program I am using for wiki?

I really don't want to spend the time figuring out how to get it set up proper so we can start using it, please only tell me you can help if you actually know what you're doing. Thanks.

We're not talking about someone who has editing experience. I could do that. We need someone who knows how to edit all the metadata and crap to get the pages started and working for us.

I have always seen blogs as a place where people put links to other things on the Internet or give you zillions of top 10 list or talk about Heroes sucking and watching every episode anyway but that's just me.

The blog could have site news and recent uploads to report about. I know of many forums that have gained more users by having blogs.

The only bad thing about having a Blog is having someone dedicated to keep UP with it. I have a blog and its def a job sometimes to remember to add new content and KEEP your followers and make them want to use word of mouth. But blogs are the big thing now like Slime said.

As for wiki as long as you have patience and some time to learn its not hard.

I think a blog would be a cool idea and they are especially popular now a days. Like Slime said, it could be used as a way to post updates about the sites news and the newest uploads. I also understand where the people are coming from in saying that a blog takes work, as it does, but if there were say four or five people who would be willing to work together to keep the blog up to date, then it wouldn't be that large of a task on one person. I don't know a ton about writing scripts for layouts and such but I am good at editing texts and consider myself to be a fairly well versed writer, so I would be more than willing to volunteer some of my time if a blog was created. But I'm a n00b here so, I respect the opinions of the senior members and there decisions

it just doesn't make any sense to do so. The whole point is to have something that is organized and looks organize. Blogs just don't scream organized to me as searching them usually turns out to be annoying.

Wiki should be cool.
Saying the quality of every uploaded episode (of Nick Shows, maybe later other shows).
And you can easily see if an episode your searching for is available on this forum.
